Omotesando is one of my favourite places in Tokyo. Artistic fashion buildings and galleries line up along the street, where I can enjoy shopping, gourmet food and art. Just in case you didn’t know, if you walk right up the street you’ll end up at Meiji Shrine. That is the reason behind the name Omotesando which means ‘Front Approach’. Sadly, I don’t have time to check out the shrine. I ended up exploring interesting places at Omotesando. The area has everything that I want to see, from luxury brand to local designer boutiques. I can spot Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Chanel, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Tod’s and many more. To be honest, I love to explore the local stores more. Some of them are curated brands and some of them are just the ones that I never heard of before.
I was wearing one of the Kenzo’s Spring Summer 2016 collection that I’ve been eyeing since I saw them on PFW! There’s always something new about Kenzo that strikes me. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim incorporated what they do best. Their modern prints with fresh shapes and cuts, creating an exciting, eclectic collection. I was feeling feminine and playful at the same time so as you can see, I was bringing the metallic clutch that I wore in my previous look. Finally, the good news is you can now visit Kenzo store at Plaza Indonesia and discover their latest collection!! 🙂
